Once more unto the breach

A spring beauty

There’s always got to be a first post. Strictly speaking, this isn't it, since I had a blog or two some years back. Given the persistence of the internet, those old blogs may still be around somewhere, although (with fairly minimal effort) I couldn't find them. This is the first post in years, however, so I suppose that counts for something.

This lovely rose was photographed at almost dusk at the Houston Garden Center rose gardens in Hermann park, in late March. I’m told that the garden center is due for a major refurb and that the rose gardens may not survive the transition, so I’m glad I had a chance to see this one.
